Michael Gorzynski serves as Executive Chairman of Continental General Insurance Company. He has two decades of experience operating across the capital markets, investment management sector and insurance industry as an analyst, investor and executive. Prior to forming MG Capital Management, which is his New York-based investment firm, Mr. Gorzynski invested in special situations globally at Third Point LLC, an asset management firm in New York. He began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in the investment banking division and at Spectrum Equity Investors, a private equity firm in Boston. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of HC2 Holdings (NYSE: HCHC). Mr. Gorzynski earned a BA from the University of California, Berkeley and then received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

David D. Ramsey has been with the company for three years and currently serves as the President and CEO. He has over 25 years of experience with long-term care, life, and annuity products. Most of his career has focused on working with executive management teams, mergers and acquisitions activity, and serving in various actuarial roles. Prior to joining Continental, Mr. Ramsey was the Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary of National Western Life Insurance Company, Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer of Continental General Insurance Company, and LTC Divisional Vice President and Chief Actuary of Great American Insurance Group. Before Great American, Mr. Ramsey held positions as Senior Consulting Actuary of Actuarial Resources Corporation, President and Consulting Actuary of Allen Bailey & Associates, and Associate Actuary of One American Financial. He has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 2001. He holds a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Ball State University.

Janet Ward has been with Continental LTC Inc. (formerly Great American Financial Services) for 10 years and currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mrs. Ward has over 20 years of insurance financial reporting experience with long-term care, life, annuity, and other health related products, including financial reporting, planning and forecasting on a statutory and GAAP basis. Prior to joining Continental, Mrs. Ward served as Director of Accounting for Cigna Supplemental Benefits with responsibility for financial reporting, planning and analysis. Prior to joining Cigna Supplemental Benefits, Mrs. Ward served as Divisional Assistant Vice President of Financial Reporting for Great American Supplemental Benefits Group. She holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from The University of Texas – Austin.

Thomas E. Pyle has been with Continental LTC Inc. (formerly Great American Supplemental Benefits Group) for 13 years and currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary, and Chief Risk Officer. Mr. Pyle has over 19 years of actuarial experience with an emphasis in long-term care and Medicare Supplement insurance. Prior to joining Continental, he was a Senior Consulting Actuary at Allen Bailey & Associates from 2009 to 2016 and a valuation actuary for Great American Supplement Benefits Group from 2002 to 2009, where he served as the appointed actuary for United Teacher Associates Insurance Company and Loyal American Life Insurance Company in 2008. Mr. Pyle began his career as an actuary at the Ceres Group from 2000 to 2002. He has been an Associate of the Society of Actuaries since 2006 and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 2007. Mr. Pyle holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas and an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Missouri.

W. Travis Simpson has been with the company for 25 years and currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has over 25 years of insurance experience with a focus in long-term care, life, annuity, and other health related products. In support of these product lines, Mr. Simpson has managed various areas which include new business, underwriting, customer service, claims, information technology, compliance, premium accounting, commissions, agent licensing, and mail services. Mr. Simpson previously served as Vice President of Operations. Prior to Continental, he served as Assistant Vice President of Operations for Cigna Supplemental Benefits. Prior to joining Cigna Supplemental Benefits, Mr. Simpson served as Divisional Assistant Vice President of Operations for Great American Supplemental Benefits Group. He holds a Fellow, Life Management Institute from the Life Office Management Association.
